Meet Shanna, the Founder of EOB / B4C
Meet Shanna Quinn, the founder of East Orlando Bookkeeping/Bookkeeping4Contractors (EOB / B4C). Shanna started EOB/B4C in May of 2015, driven by her desire to just have breakfast with her growing son, then just 3 years old.
During the transition, Shanna left her full-time role at a local CPA firm and unexpectedly took on a regional sales representative position with a truck and commercial equipment advertising company. Despite being new to the industry and initially uncomfortable in the new role of sales, Shanna spent nearly two years growing her portfolio and establishing a crucial relationship with a long-sought client.
By 2017, EOB / B4C had flourished, reaching over $200,000 in annual revenue and serving more than 25 clients. During this period, Shanna made her first hire, Sara Russell, who remains a vital asset to the company.
Today, Shanna has transformed EOB / B4C into a well-established, full-service bookkeeping firm. Her team now includes two Account Managers, a Bookkeeping Assistant, and an Administrative/Marketing expert. The firm caters to over 30 clients, offering comprehensive job costing and CFO-level services to a diverse range of businesses, with a specialized focus on Contractors, Subcontractors, and Interior Designers.
More recently, Shanna launched Bookkeeping 4 Contractors Group (B4CG), a distinct venture separate from her bookkeeping firm. B4CG is a platform designed to mentor and support other Accounting Professionals (APs) while connecting Small Business Owners (SBOs) with highly educated, experienced accounting professionals. This new business model is set to launch in the Fall of 2025.
